With a proven track record of producing compelling content that celebrates Northeast Ohio, Cleveland Studios was the ideal partner to bring the stories of Mayfield Heights to life.

Inside Mayfield Heights

The City of Mayfield Heights boasts diverse, established neighborhoods bolstered by strong civic infrastructure. In particular, the new Aquatic & Community Center is a prime example of the city’s commitment to investing in the community in ways that promote quality of life for residents. In addition, top-notch schools and diverse housing stock make Mayfield Heights an ideal community for residents of any age or life stage.

Telling the Story

The Cleveland Studios team met with representatives from the city to brainstorm creative ways to inform residents of the city’s ongoing commitment to enhancing quality of life. The goal was to bring the city’s service and infrastructure efforts to light through compelling narratives.

We decided to tell the story directly through longtime Mayor Anthony DiCicco, whose Q&A feature focused not just on the initiatives shaping change throughout the city, but what he himself loves about his community and his job. The piece effectively served as a “get to know your mayor” feature while also highlighting some of the initiatives aimed at making Mayfield Heights a city where people want to be — and stay. In addition, we chose to highlight longtime residents who are engaged in the community, working to ensure it remains a welcoming and vibrant city. Their stories showcased the community pride Mayfield Heights is known for.

The Results 

The inaugural edition of Destination Mayfield Heights was met with positive feedback from both city officials and residents. The goal is to continue to create an annual magazine that will become a vital communication tool for the city, reinforcing transparency and civic pride while providing an engaging, accessible way to share updates on services, infrastructure and community development.
