Cleveland Studios has been the right resource to help tell its stories and connect enthusiasts to places of wonder that enrich their lives. A quarterly membership publication delivers on beauty, drives attendance to events and educates about the natural life around us.
Inside Holden Forests & Gardens
Holden Forests & Gardens is made up of two of Northeast Ohio’s most important environmental and cultural institutions — the Holden Arboretum and Cleveland Botanical Garden. As the 12th largest public garden in the country, Holden Forests & Gardens has over 21,000 member households and an annual attendance of over 350,000, for whom it provides inspirational and educational visitor experiences.
Spreading the Message
Holden Forests & Gardens developed and produced four member publications a year that illuminated important work that the nonprofit was doing. However, with a limited amount of both resources and staff capacity, the nonprofit organization began to look for local vendors that could assist in creating this high-quality publication. In 2019, the organization partnered with Cleveland Studios to help with content ideation and creation, printing and mailing its member publication.

Holden found Cleveland Studios local connections interesting, including its ties to Cleveland Magazine. This planted the seeds for a productive and flourishing partnership.

Expert-driven content illustrates the behind-the-scenes work that makes real experiences possible at both campuses. Readers are invited to step inside and explore the world around them. Nature enthusiasts are encouraged to get their hands dirty with accessible tips on how to grow their own gardens. Insider event information invites visitors to be part of the fun.
